Mama Mastro’s Cozy Chili Recipe
Looking for a hearty, easy-to-make chili that hits the spot every time? Say hello to Mama Mastro’s Chili! Perfect for cozy nights or when you want to spice up your baked potatoes. 


Here’s how to whip it up:

What You’ll Need:
 1 package 80% lean ground beef
 1 small can of Rotel
 1 large can of crushed tomatoes
 2 cans of kidney beans (1 red, 1 pink—drained, rinsed, and ready)
 1 low-sodium taco seasoning packet
 1 low-sodium chili seasoning packet
 1/2 a cooking onion, diced
 1 teaspoon sugar

How to Make It:
1. Brown the Beef- Cook your ground beef in a pan until it’s browned, then drain off any grease. Toss it into your crockpot.
2. Spice It Up- Add the taco seasoning, chili seasoning, diced onion, sugar, Rotel, and crushed tomatoes into the crockpot. Mix it all together like a pro.
3. Add the Beans- Drain and rinse your kidney beans (no one wants bean juice vibes) and toss them into the mix.
4. Cook and Wait- Set your crockpot on high and let all the flavors come together for 4 hours. Taste-test as you go, and add more seasoning if needed—it’s all about what feels right!

How to Serve:
Scoop into a bowl, top with sour cream and shredded Mexican cheese for a classic chili moment. Feeling fancy? Make it a loaded baked potato. Add the chili to a baked potato, then pile on the cheese and sour cream.
