If you’re anything like me, the perfect weekend includes a little bit of everything—upscale bites, casual cocktails, and a few surprises along the way. This weekend was all about exploring local favorites around Downtown Summerlin. Whether you’re planning a night out or just want to know where to grab your next bite, here’s what made the list:

JING – Downtown Summerlin

The Vibe: Trendy and modern with an elevated energy. Indoor and outdoor seating options make it perfect for happy hour or dinner with a view. It’s chic but approachable, and as the night goes on, expect louder music and a more party-forward vibe.

What We Ordered:
Crispy Rock Shrimp
Lettuce Wraps
Sushi Rolls
$9 Signature Cocktails + $5 Beers (Happy Hour Menu)

Need to Know: Happy Hour is available daily from 4–6 PM. Jing is especially known for its fresh seafood options and curated wine list, making it a favorite for those who enjoy a lighter, more refined menu.

Best For: Happy hour, date night, or getting dressed up just because.

T-Bones Chophouse – Red Rock Casino

The Vibe: Upscale, refined, and ideal for a night when you want to splurge a little. With seating options indoors and out, the poolside patio gives you a touch of resort relaxation while still delivering an elevated dining experience. Service is top-tier from start to finish.

What We Ordered:
Appetizers: Tomato Caprese, Piedmontese Beef Tartare
Entrées: Petite Filet Mignon, Wedge Salad (chopped on request)
Sides to Share: Truffle Tater Tots, Mac & Cheese, Grilled Asparagus
Dessert: Fried Oreos

Need to Know: Portions are generous, especially the sides. You’ll leave full—and probably dreaming about those truffle tots.

Best For: Celebrations, upscale dinners, or impressing someone special.

Frankie’s Uptown – Downtown Summerlin

The Vibe: Casual, sporty, and friendly with a strong neighborhood feel. Limited patio seating is available (dog-friendly!), but we opted to sit inside at the bar. Big TVs, good music, and solid bar energy make it a great pit stop while shopping or running errands.

What We Ordered:
Italian Sushi (new menu addition!)
Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeños
Fried Calamari
Drinks: Beer + Specialty Cocktails

Need to Know: Their Stromboli is what they’re known for—especially the Knight Stromboli (named after the Las Vegas Golden Knights) and the Aviator Stromboli. The bourbon and whiskey selection is also worth exploring if you’re into classic pours or creative cocktails.

Best For: Sports bar lovers, casual drinks, or grabbing a bite in between errands with friends.

The Final Bite

From sleek happy hour scenes to indulgent steak dinners and low-key bar bites, Summerlin has something for every vibe. Whether you’re planning a weekend with the girls or just need an excuse to try somewhere new, these spots are worth bookmarking. Save this post for your next local food crawl—and let me know which spot I should check out next!
